Restoring a Handsaw

Why would you want a handsaw in your woodworking toolkit when you can plug in a circular saw? I have found that handsaws can actually make certain cuts that challenge a power saw; handsaws are quieter, cleaner, and safer; and handsaws are almost as fast when they are properly tuned and sharpened.
